Reverse engineering/Reconstruction/Digitization

Missing replacement parts are one of the biggest problems for historical vehicles.

The basis for reproducing all needed components can be created by our vintage car manufacturer Drescher Karosseriebau GmbH & Co. KG, exactly according to our customers' wishes.

We reconstruct this component based on technical drawings or old patterns. All types of available information, such as point clouds stemming from the 3-D digitization of master models or prototypes, points from coordinate measuring machines, drawings, hand-made sketches or even photos serve as the basis for creating this data.

The 3-D data models are ready at the end of the reverse engineering process, wherein the development process for creating the construction template for design data is done in reverse in order to create a highly precise CAD data model.
